Mango lassi

Couple of friends called and told me that they loved how I put up the recipe of something that is considered so simple, and yet not totally mastered ever. Well, I am not claiming to master masala chai myself, but surely you can try and tell me if it worked for you as much as it works for me. 🙂

 Okay, today I am resenting something simple and yummy again. It is my version of mango lassi – the simplest you can ever get because it can be made in exactly 2 minutes! Of course the flip side of being so simple is that there are packaged ingredients involved. So here goes…

What do you need?

1 cup plain curd / yogurt

1 table spoon mango flavored tang powder / rasna powder

4 teaspoons sugar, to taste

How to make it?

 Put the curd / yogurt, sugar and mango tang / rasna into a mixer / blender and blend for 2 minutes. That’s it! Now pour and serve.

 If you want to do it the natural way, try 1 cup chopped mango (peeled and stone removed) and blend that with the curd and sugar. This increases the time because of the peeling and cutting but it is worth it! Enjoy and do share your comments after you do 🙂
