Now, even more than before, we have so many different opportunities in the world of travel that it is difficult to let them go. Whether options for the commute itself, or the stay, whether various new locations, or accessibility, whether the ease of bookings or low costs; everything is served on a platter.
Actually more than a platter. Things have gotten even more exciting. Now there is more to travel than boring stereotypical hotels and lodges. Now you can rent unique places to stay from local hosts in 190+ countries. All through a fabulous forum called airbnb. Let me share with you my wish list of 5 places that I want to visit through airbnb and that will give you a great idea of how it works too.
My dream place#1 is this fabulous 2-bed loft in Paris!
A 125 Square metre 3 floor 2 Bedroom Loft, this apartment in the centre of Paris situated on Rue Quincampoix, 75004. This apartment is unique, not only in style, but also in taste and location. Paris is anyway on the travel wish list of almost every single human being and staying in such a beautiful place will add to the charm of my vacation. It even boasts of charming neighbourhood right in the centre of the 4th Marais – Pompidu and the 3rd Arrondisment full of restaurants cafes Pompidu is 1 block from the apartment Close to 3 metro stations. I cant wait to get there!
My dream place#2 is this this dream modern house!
This gorgeously built house with free Parking blew me away. After watching Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, I have been wanting to go to Spain desperately and when I saw this place my resolve grew stronger! This is a modern, spacious, bright and quiet two-bedroom apartment (size:1668 ft2/155 m2) in Barcelona, with a safe and secure neighbourhood near the main train station Sants, it is at a 5 min. walking from Sants st. which is the longest commercial street in Europe and will give me access to the heart of the place. Look at the pictures and you will know what I mean!
My dream place# 3 is this.
If, like me, you are a fan of soppy love stories, then you have one of the most quintessentially love-y dove-y movie ever, Notting hill. So when I decided to visit London, I decided to re-live the Notting Hill glory. And what better way to do it than by living in this Notting Hill Room? It is a charming little space at London’s most sought after address. Guests can view treetops and Victorian rooflines through the French windows in the living room. Double bed sleeps two, with lots of storage in the bedroom for you to unpack. What attracted me more than anything to this place is the guests reviews on Andre – he seems like a great host!
My dream place#4 is this gorgeous beauty in Buenos Aires!
This stunning apartment is brand new, has a lovely balcony, located in the charming Villa Urquiza neighborhood. The place is fully equipped with what any traveler might need. There is 1 bedroom,1 bathroom, a kitchen, queen size bed – sommier, 32’ and 42′ TVs, Apple TV, Roku TV, Air conditioner, WI-FI, heating, microwave, refrigerator and lots more! From the reviews and google search, I learnt that the neighborhood is quiet and very inviting!
My dream place#5 is a stunning private estate in a lovely part of Geneva.
Surrounded by 200 year old shady trees, this place is situated in one of the best residential areas of GENEVA with great lake views and surrounded by typical swiss countryside, and yet it is in the city, being only few minutes only from all the main conference centers in Geneva ILO Arena UNHCR CICG WHO. There are beautiful cozy bedrooms, stocked up fridge, tennis court, bucycles and a pool. And this is just a sample of what this place offers. More than anything else, Kathy seems like one of the most hospitable and gracious hosts I came across on airbnb! I am very excited to be her guest!
